Handover of MC-1 to Neunerhaus Veterinary Practice
In 2025, we launched our commitment to share some of our success: 2% of our profits are invested directly in supporting charitable initiatives and social projects.
This year we chose the veterinary practice of Neunerhaus Vienna , a special institution dedicated to the medical care of pets belonging to homeless and unhoused people.
Together with the Ultrasound Academy (THV), we were able to provide an MC-1 ultrasound system free of charge. This supports the important work of the local team and helps to ensure that diagnoses can be made faster and more accurately.
The neunerhaus veterinary practice continues to be financed primarily through donations. As before, the services of the practice can only be used by homeless and precariously housed pet owners.
For the past 16 years, more than 50 volunteer veterinarians and assistants have been taking turns caring with great dedication for the well-being of the animal companions of homeless and unhoused people.
This not only helps the animals – their owners benefit as well. Caring for a pet provides many people with stability and structure in their daily lives. Especially in difficult situations, this responsibility can offer a sense of security. Four-legged companions remain loyal to their humans and motivate them to take responsibility – for their pet and often for themselves as well.
We are proud to be able to support this valuable work with our contribution.
